How the score works
- Reach β lifetime views on a log scale, so one huge site doesn't flatten the rest.
- Traction β moving average of the last 14 days; recent days count more.
- Momentum β this week vs last week, smoothed. 50 means flat.
- Consistency β recency-weighted active days, penalising volatile spikes.
- Engagement β Wilson 95% bound (Reddit "best") of visits that stay 30s+, then an IMDb-style Bayesian average.
- Authority β PageRank (Google) over how your sites link to each other.
- Freshness β Hacker-News-style gravity: a view today is worth far more than a week ago.
- Elo β daily head-to-head matches with margin-of-victory scaling, like chess and FiveThirtyEight ratings.
- Rank fusion β merges each algorithm's ranking (Reciprocal Rank Fusion, as in search engines); robust to outliers.
